Welcome to the website of Commonwealth Fly Fishing
Scotland.
Recognised as the governing body for Commonwealth Fly
Fishing in Scotland.
When, in 2002 the SANA membership voted to relinquish
their responsibility for entering and competing in the
Commonwealth Championships in favour of the European, I
was approached by the Commonwealth Association to
consider setting up a body, in order that Scotland could
continue it’s involvement and participation in these
matches and in effect “fly the flag” throughout the
Commonwealth on Scotland’s behalf. I accepted this
challenge and Commonwealth Fly Fishing Scotland was
born.
Our mission is to encourage and maintain Scotland's
continued participation in the Commonwealth Fly Fishing
Championships in accordance with the spirit, sporting
traditions and fellowship as laid down by the founders.
As our motto states, A'Strὶle Urram (Competing with Honour), this
is, and always will be, our aim.
Tight lines to all.
Chairman
Iain Earle
